Northwest Demolition was contracted for the removal of basement slab, rat slab/waterproofing, and pile cap extensions at a commercial property redevelopment in downtown Waikiki.   NWDD utilized specialty concrete processors to process over 56 pile caps and associated rebar to -1.5M below grade to make way for future site development.  Due to the property location atop former marshland, the demolition and processing work was done blindly in-water using strict coordination between an onsite surveyor and Northwest Demolition’s operating team.  This work was completed under budget and nearly 3 weeks ahead of schedule.  As a result of their diligent production, NWDD’s team was recognized with safety and performance awards by the client.
