Glenn Springs Holdings, in partnership with The Port of Tacoma, retained Northwest Demolition to demolish two creosote wood docks that had badly deteriorated. The docks, approximately 2,600-feet in length, were removed to enable construction of a burial zone for contaminated sediment dredged from surrounding waterways. The project was performed under strict environmental controls; Northwest Demolition developed a precise methodology to ensure that no debris made it into the surrounding marine environment.
