Northwest Demolition was contracted for the abatement, demolition, and removal of a former retail fertilizer facility. On site was an array of warehouses, storage tanks, shop facilities, scales, concrete containments, and a spur rail line. Northwest Demolition coordinated with an environmental firm to identify, treat, and properly dispose of fertilizer contaminated soils located throughout the site. The project also required the demolition and crushing of over 12,500 tons of concrete, which was left on site for the subsequent grading operations.
